This month, the musical direction of Out of Order is controlled by those rascals, the Kessler brothers. They present to you a night of incredibly sexy house and techno in two parts:
PART ONE OF YOUR NIGHT – BELVEDERES [$5 (free before 10pm), 9pm-2am]
You know him, you love him, or you might just think he’s OK. But he sure can play a mean house set. Mmmmmm hmmmmmm.
The Kessler Brothers
Kind of like if the Martinez Brothers played from 9pm-10pm before the cover starts at Out of Order, only they actually played great tracks instead of complete garbage, but didn’t know how to mix.
PART TWO OF YOUR NIGHT – 1139 PENN AVE [$10 w/ Belvederes hand stamp - Open Bar, 2am-6am]
[The Bunker, NYC]
Don’t need to say much about this guy. Former Pittsburgher now living in Brooklyn and throwing one of the most influential dance music parties in North America (for the past 8 years) – The Bunker.
[Humanaut] [VIA] [Honcho]
Late night house and techno from the resident Humanaut fag-o-tron.
- Custom sound rig provided by Impact Audio.
- Both events 21+
After a lengthy hiatus, the Humanaut Sustainable Podcast Series is back, and this episode is a big one.
We present to you the entirety of the March 2012 edition of our monthly party, Out of Order. This event featured a 90s IDM set from Mr. Hamilton, some serious future bass from Cutups, a live techno set from Vasculator, and a deep dubstep set from Cleveland’s Jason Burns. Enjoy.

It’s been a long time coming! We are very pleased to welcome a few of the Beretta boys out celebrating the Detroit record label’s 10-Year Anniversary.
Since first meeting them through an official Movement festival afterparty collaboration in 2010, Humanaut has come to know and respect the Beretta outfit for their authenticity, dedication to their work, and loyalty to their city. It is little surprise that their taste is spot on… and that we get along so well!
Beretta co-founder Brian Kage and colleague Luke Hess form the techno duo Reference. Seth Yender, in anticipation for a new release on the Deeplabs imprint, will be performing a live set. Charley Ten will also be arriving to complete the tri-force as the visual element of the night.
Soul over hype. May the zone be with you.

Established in 2002, Beretta Music is a collective from Detroit focused on the future sound of techno music. Beretta has become one of the best musical outlets for new artists to expose their music to the world. Beretta releases have been charted and played by some of the most respected names in dance music today. We strongly believe in quality over quantity and our motto is: “Soul over Hype”.
Our labels include Beretta Music for classic Beretta releases, compilations, & special projects, Beretta Grey for late-night deep techno releases, and Beretta Red for bigger dance floor style techno/house releases. We also continue to release our music on vinyl (cut at the world-famous Archer pressing plant in Detroit.)

This little chunk of dark and driving glitchgroove was successfully extracted from Humanaut’s Out of Order event last April, a showcase for the Bleepsequence netlabel. The label’s founder and Humanaut cohort, Revy, delivered a hypnotic live pa dense with rugged textures, cryptic synth lines, and unique rhythms drifting off into the cosmos.
